Text

There shall be within the department a division of veterans services, a division of municipal aid, a division of commerce, a division of planning and engineering and such other divisions as the commissioner may from time to time establish. Each division shall be under the supervision of a director who shall be a person qualified by training and experience to direct the work assigned to it; and two or more divisions may be consolidated by the commissioner. The director of each division shall be appointed by the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. The term of office of each director in office, on the day on which this amendment takes effect, shall terminate on such day and each director thereafter appointed shall serve for a term of five years and until his successor
