Every department, agency, political subdivision, special district or ad hoc authority operating under the authority of this State which receives, anticipates or may apply for Federal financial assistance for a public improvement project shall transmit to the department of economic development a complete description of each such proposed project, in such form as the commissioner may prescribe. L.1944, c. 85, art. 4, p. 177, s. 29.
