§ 52:27B-51 — Powers and duties of director

New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
Unless otherwise provided by law, the director of the Division of Taxation shall perform all the acts formerly required by law to be performed by the State Tax Commissioner. The director shall have authority, subject to the approval of the commissioner, to continue, within the division, the various bureaus of the State Tax Department as they exist on the date this act takes effect; or, subject to the commissioner's approval, to reorganize those bureaus as he may deem desirable.
