§ 52:27B-49 — Director to head division; appointment; term

New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
The Division of Taxation shall be headed by a director who shall be appointed by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to serve until the next Governor shall be elected and qualified and until the director's successor shall be appointed and qualified. The Governor, however, shall have power to remove the director for cause. L.1944, c. 112, art. 4, p. 304, s. 2.
