Text

All allotments from the State Emergency Fund to an appropriation shall be authorized and allowed by the commissioner, with the approval of the Governor, but no such allotment shall be authorized until the commissioner shall have been served with a copy of the application therefor, and shall have had two days after his receipt of said application within which to submit his written recommendation thereon, together with his reasons therefor, to the Governor. All allotments thus made to an appropriation from the emergency fund shall indicate which quarterly allotment or allotments shall be increased. The warrant checks for payment of all expenditures to be made from appropriations shall be drawn on the basis of the quarterly allotments. L.1944, c. 112, art. 3, p. 298, s. 20.
