6.The Board of Public Utilities, in consultation with the Commissioner of Environmental Protection, may cause periodic inspections to be made of distributors or retailers of new products covered by section 2 of this act in order to determine compliance with the provisions of this act. The board shall also work with the Commissioner of Community Affairs to coordinate the inspections for new products that are also covered by the standard building code of New Jersey. L.2005,c.42,s.6.
