Every sewerage company organized under the laws of this State shall commence the construction of the proposed system of sewerage within 6 months from the date of its organization, and shall complete the same within 3 years from the date of commencement. The conditions annexed to the consent of the corporate authorities may designate a shorter period for the completion of such works. Amended by L.1962, c. 198, s. 162.
