Text

Where the total cost of work is to be borne by the State, the expense of closing, abandoning or combining any existing road or highway shall be borne solely by the railroad company or companies involved. Where the cost of construction of the new State highway crossing is divided between the State and the railroad company or companies involved, the cost of closing, abandoning or combining the existing crossing shall be borne 95% by the State and 5% by the railroad company or companies involved.
