§ 45:8-34 — Records; proceedings of examining board; applicants for licenses; evidence

The examining board shall keep a record of its proceedings and a record of all applicants for license, showing for each the date of application, name, age, education and other qualifications, place of business and place of residence, whether or not an examination was required and whether the applicant was rejected or a certificate of license granted, and the date of such action. The books and register of the examining board shall be prima facie evidence of all matters recorded therein. A public register showing the names and places of business and residences of all licensed professional engineers and land surveyors and engineers-in-training shall be prepared under the direction of the secretary-director during the month of June of each year; such public register shall be printed and a copy mailed to each licensee and a copy mailed to the clerk of each city, town, township, village, borough, county and other municipal corporation of this State, which public register shall be placed on file in the office of the said clerk.
