The members of the committee, before entering the discharge of their duties, and within 30 days after their appointment, shall take and subscribe to an oath before an officer authorized to administer oaths in this State for the faithful performance of their duties and file the oath with the Secretary of State. The members of the committee shall annually elect from their number a chairman and a secretary-treasurer each of whom shall hold office for 1 year and until his successor shall have been elected and qualified. Regular meetings of the committee shall be held at such times and places as it prescribes and special meetings may be held upon the call of the chairman or the director. At least one regular meeting shall be held each year. L.1983, c. 420, s. 6, eff. Jan. 5, 1984.
