15.
a.Licensed dietitian nutritionists and licensed nutritionists shall provide nutrition care services using systematic, evidence-based, and problem-solving methods to critically think and make decisions to address nutrition related problems, providing safe, effective, quality nutrition services, and medical nutrition therapy for patients and clients in both clinical and community settings.
b.A licensed dietitian nutritionist or licensed nutritionist may accept or transmit oral, verbal, delegated, or electronically transmitted orders from the referring provider consistent with applicable laws and rules in conjunction with protocols established to implement medical nutrition therapy.
