12.For a period of one year after the effective date of P.L.2019, c.331 (C.45:16B-1 et al.), any person who is practicing or residing in this State on the effective date of P.L.2019, c.331 (C.45:16B-1 et al.) may qualify as a licensed nutritionist upon application for licensure and payment of the appropriate fee, provided the applicant furnishes evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant has received a baccalaureate or higher academic degree from a United States regionally accredited college or university with a minimum of 30 credit hours or a major concentration of study in human nutrition, foods and nutrition, food systems management, nutritional science, nutritional education, community nutrition, public health nutrition, nutrition education, nutrition, nutrition science, cl
