Text

(a)A representative payee appointed pursuant to this act shall be personally responsible for the proper expenditure of all payments of public assistance made on behalf of the recipient, but shall not be required to give bond, and shall not be entitled to compensation for any acts or services performed.
(b)At least once each year following appointment as representative payee, or upon discharge from such office, or upon notice that payments of public assistance are being discontinued, such representative payee shall file with the court a statement of account under oath showing the total amount of moneys received, the amount disbursed on behalf of the recipient, and the balance, if any, remaining in the hands of the representative payee.
