§ 43:7-18 — 1 Responsibility for operation of pension fund.
New Jersey·Title 43 PENSIONS AND RETIREMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION
4.The Division of Pensions and Benefits in the Department of the Treasury shall have the general responsibility for the proper operation of the pension fund and shall have such powers and shall exercise such functions and duties, as may be necessary and appropriate for the proper operation of the fund, subject to the provisions of P.L.1955, c.70 (C.52:18A-95 et seq.). Any reference in a law, rule, regulation, judicial or administrative proceeding, or otherwise to the Prison Officers' Pension Commission shall mean and refer to the Division of Pensions and Benefits. The division may make all necessary rules and regulations.
