Text
The board of commissioners may, within 3 years immediately following the adoption of any ordinance submitted by initiative or referendum and ratified by the voters, submit a proposition for the repeal or amendment of any such ordinance to the voters at any succeeding general election or regular municipal election. If the proposition so submitted shall receive a majority of the votes cast thereon at such election, such ordinance shall thereby be repealed or amended accordingly. Amended by L.1982, c. 145, s. 17, eff. Sept. 28, 1982.
