Text
The clerk shall, within five days after such refiling, make a similar examination of the amended petition and if his certificate shall show the same to be insufficient he shall forthwith return it to the Committee of the Petitioners, without prejudice to the filing of a new petition to the same effect. If the petition or amended petition shall be deemed to be sufficient the clerk shall submit the same to the board of commissioners without delay. Amended by L.1982, c. 145, s. 13, eff. Sept. 28, 1982.
