15.Ordinances adopted pursuant to this act, P.L.1992, c.165 (C.40:54D-1 et seq.) shall impose a tourism development fee. The ordinances imposing the fee shall set forth the method for the calculation thereof which shall be similar to that used for mercantile licenses and other such fees as established by the municipalities. A business paying the tourism development fee or tourism assessment shall be exempt from any future room taxes, tourism taxes, beach fees, or other similar taxes imposed by a county or the State of New Jersey on tourism related business. The fee shall be uniform throughout the district and shall apply to: a. all persons making sales of tangible personal property or services, the receipts from which are subject to the "Sales and Use Tax Act," P.L.1966, c.30 (C.54:32B-1
