Text

When a written order has been issued by the director of the division for the removal to slaughter of live stock giving a positive or suspicious reaction to a test, under a plan of the division calling for payment of indemnities, it shall be slaughtered within fifteen days of time of appraisal under the direct supervision of a duly authorized agent or representative of the division at a time and place designated by the director of the division and the carcass shall be examined and judged as to fitness for food. No indemnities shall be paid unless the provisions of this section have been complied with. L.1946, c. 257, p. 898, s.
