Text
The value of materials ordered destroyed by the department because of contamination by or exposure to the disease shall be determined by agreement between the owner or his agent and an authorized agent or representative of the department, such appraisement to be based on the market price and the condition of such materials. Such appraisal shall be official and shall be accepted by the owner and the department, and no further claim shall be made against the State by the owner. L.1948, c. 436, p. 1687, s. 6.
