Text
An agricultural association or corporation, incorporated or authorized to do business in this State under any law other than this chapter, may become subject to the provisions of this chapter, provided a resolution declaring such change advisable is adopted by the directors of such association and approved in accordance with the statute under which it is incorporated or currently operating. A copy of the resolution, duly certified by the president or secretary of the association, shall be filed with the Secretary of State and Secretary of Agriculture and thereupon the association shall become subject in all respects to the provisions of this chapter.
