Text
A personal representative shall proceed expeditiously with the settlement and distribution of a decedent's estate and do so without adjudication, order, or direction of a court, but he may invoke the jurisdiction of a court, in proceedings authorized by law to resolve questions concerning the estate or its administration. L.1981, c. 405, s. 3B:10-28, eff. May 1, 1982.
