Text
31.The Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles shall collect a $25 fee from a person who issues or passes to the division a check, or similar sight order for the payment of money, which is not honored by the drawee. This fee shall be in addition to all other fees owed by the person to the division. The amount sought to be satisfied by such dishonored check, or similar sight order for the payment of money, shall not be deemed paid until such amount and the fee required under this section are paid. This section shall be applicable to any check or similar sight order for the payment of money, made to the division. L.1994,c.60,s.31.
