33.Whenever any statute shall refer to military matters in the Department of Defense or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Defense, the same shall mean and refer to the Department of Military Affairs; except as provided in section 69 of P.L.2025, c.139 (N.J.S.38A:21-7).
