§ 36:1-5 — Mother's day
New Jersey·Title 36 LEGAL HOLIDAYS
For the purpose of paying a special tribute to mothers, the second Sunday of May in each year is designated as a day for the general observance of that purpose and shall be known as Mother's Day. L.1944, c. 116, p. 319, s. 1, eff. April 13, 1944.
