The minutes of every meeting of the port authority held under or within the purview of article 1 of chapter 1 of this Title (s. 32:1-1 et seq.), shall be forthwith transmitted, by and under the certification of the secretary thereof, to the Governor of this State at the executive chamber, State House, Trenton. No action taken at such meeting by any commissioner appointed from this State shall have force or effect for a period of 10 days, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excepted, after the minutes shall have been so transmitted and delivered unless the Governor shall finally approve the minutes or any part thereof, reciting any such action, within said 10-day period. Amended by L.1972, c. 20, s. 1, eff. May 9, 1972.
