a.Pursuant to rules and regulations established by the Department of Corrections, at least 10 working days prior to final determination of an application for participation in the program, the department shall notify the appropriate county prosecutor or the Attorney General, if appropriate. The notice shall be given in the manner prescribed by the department and shall contain all information and documentation relating to the application as the department shall deem appropriate and necessary, as well as information on the program and the consideration process.
b.Upon receipt of the notice, the county prosecutor or Attorney General, as the case may be, may submit comments to the department.
