Any employee not appointed or transferred pursuant to this act may exercise any special reemployment rights and may also exercise within all departments of the Executive Branch all other layoff rights which would have been available to said employee in the Department of Institutions and Agencies if the Department of Corrections had not been established. L.1976, c. 98, s. 15, eff. Nov. 1, 1976.
