Text
A licensed health care practitioner, hospital, or the health care provider who acts in good faith and in accordance with currently accepted medical standards to execute the provisions of this act and any rules or regulations issued by the Department of Health or the Board of Medical Examiners pursuant to this act, shall not be subject to criminal or civil liability or to discipline for unprofessional conduct with respect to those actions. These immunities shall extend to conduct in conformity with the provisions of this act following enactment of this act but prior to its effective date. L.1991,c.90,s.6.
