§ 26:2SS-14 — Calculation of savings; reports.

a.A carrier shall calculate, as part of rate filings required to be filed under New Jersey law, the savings that result from a reduction in out-of-network claims payments pursuant to the provisions of this act. The department shall include that information in the information provided on the department's website pursuant to section 12 of this act.
b.The department shall report to the Governor, and to the Legislature pursuant to section 2 of P.L.1991, c.164 (C.52:14-19.1), no later than 12 months after the effective date of this act and annually thereafter, on the savings to policyholders and the healthcare system that result from the provisions of this act. The report shall contain an analysis of the information compiled pursuant to section 12 of this act. L.2018, c.32, s.14.
