§ 20:4-22 — State department of transportation; inapplicability of act; supplemental program; consultation with commissioner of department of community affairs
New Jersey·Title 20 EMINENT DOMAIN
The provisions of this act shall not apply to the State Department of Transportation; provided, however, that the State Department of Transportation shall supplement its existing relocation assistance program designed to minimize the hardships of persons and business concerns displaced as a result of the acquisition by said State Department of Transportation of any real property for a public use, by July 1, 1972. Said supplemented program shall be in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Federal Highway Administration relating to relocation assistance so as to fully qualify the Department of Transportation for Federal aid reimbursement and to equal or exceed the requirements of this statute.
