§ 18A:71A-23 — Higher Education Student Assistance Fund.

18A:71A-23. Higher Education Student Assistance Fund. The authority shall establish and maintain a special fund called the "Higher Education Student Assistance Fund" solely for its activities as a guaranty agency and lender under 20 U.S.C.s.1071 et seq. The fund shall consist of: a. all moneys appropriated by the Legislature for inclusion in the fund; b. federal advances and other revenues realized as a result of guaranty and lender activities under 20 U.S.C.s.1071 et seq.; c. investment earnings of the fund; d. moneys contributed to the authority by private sources, to be used for the purposes of this act; e. the proceeds received by the sale of its bonds, bond anticipation notes and other obligations as provided by law; and f. the proceeds received by the authority from the resale of notes evidencing approved loans made pursuant to this act. The authority may in any resolution authorize the establishment within the Higher Education Student Assistance Fund of separate special funds as necessary for moneys to be held in pledge or otherwise for payment or redemption of bonds, notes or other obligations, reserves or other purposes and to covenant as to use and disposition of the moneys held in these special funds.
