The members of any Baptist church in this state, organized according to the usages and customs of Baptist churches, may incorporate in the following manner: Notice of a meeting of such members to incorporate, with the day, hour and place thereof, shall be given by advertisement, signed by the clerk, or clerk pro tempore of such church, and set up in open view, at least ten days previous to the day named therein, at or near the place where the members usually assemble for public worship. The number of members necessary to constitute a quorum shall be determined by regulation previously adopted by such church. In the absence of any such regulation five members shall constitute a quorum, but a smaller number may adjourn the meeting from time to time. At such meeting the pastor or any member o
