Any society, conference, board, association or other organization connected with The United Methodist Church may incorporate, or if incorporated may reincorporate, in the following manner: a. At least 10 days notice shall be given to the members stating that at a specified date, time and place a meeting will be held for the purpose of incorporating or reincorporating such organization, selecting a name therefor and electing trustees thereof to serve as directors of the corporation. Such notice shall be in writing and signed by at least 6 of such members.
b.If at such meeting the members present and voting shall determine by resolution to incorporate or reincorporate such organization, they shall similarly determine the name of the corporation, and the number and terms of office of the tru

The duly elected trustees of such organization shall execute and acknowledge, before any person authorized to take acknowledgment of deeds, a certificate of incorporation setting forth the name of the corporation, the names of the trustees and their terms of office, and such other provisions as adopted by vote of the members at such meeting to govern the business of the corporation.
