Text
Any person who operates a motor vehicle or owns a motor vehicle which he permits to be operated upon the public highways of this State which generates noise in excess of standards adopted by the department shall be liable to a penalty of not less than $25.00 nor more than $1,000.00 which shall be enforced in accordance with the provisions of chapter 5 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes. L.1971, c. 418, s. 9, eff. Jan. 24, 1972.
