12:8-15. Certificate of appointment as a maritime pilot. The commission shall give to every person appointed by it as a deputy or full branch maritime pilot, a certificate of appointment or license signed by a majority of the commissioners. At the time the commission advances a maritime pilot in grade, the secretary shall endorse the certificate noting the advancement in grade. Amended 1987, c.435, s.1; 2004, c.72, s.19.
