12:8-11. Apprentices shall serve at least four years and for such longer periods of time as may be required by the commission. They shall be examined by the commission as directed by law and thereafter licensed as a deputy maritime pilot, at the discretion of the commission. The apprentices herein provided for shall be the only apprentices to be appointed or employed by the New Jersey Sandy Hook pilots. Amended 2004, c.72, s.15.
