§ 12:8-10 — Pilot boats in Sandy Hook service; apprentices, control and direction of; docking boats.

12:8-10. The pilot boats employed by or belonging in whole or in part to the United New Jersey Sandy Hook Pilots' Benevolent Association, or to the United New Jersey Sandy Hook Pilots' Association, shall be the only maritime pilot boats in the New Jersey Sandy Hook pilot service, or in any bays, rivers, harbors, or ports of the waters of this State or approaches to the waters of this State between Sandy Hook, in the county of Monmouth and the city of Atlantic City, in the county of Atlantic. Apprentices shall be attached to the pilot boats of said association and the pilot boats may have more than one apprentice. The apprentices shall be entered in the books of the commission in the name of and indentured to the association, and shall serve as apprentices under the laws of this State. The
