Text
If any convict sentenced to confinement to hard labor or solitary imprisonment shall, at the time of his sentence, be in custody of the sheriff on civil process, mesne or final, the sheriff shall, on the delivery of such convict to the commissioner of corrections, leave with the commissioner of corrections an attested copy of such process.
