Text

At any time after 3 years from the organization of a mosquito control district, 10 legal voters may petition the local governing body that the question of discontinuing the district be submitted to the voters of the district at the next town meeting or general election held in the district that does not occur within less than 90 days after filing of the petition. The petition shall state the reasons for discontinuance and that all obligations of the district have been met or provided for. Action shall be taken on the petition as provided in RSA 430:13.
