Text
The commissioner of agriculture, markets, and food shall, subject to the personnel laws of the state, employ an assistant who shall be known as the state entomologist and who shall be fully qualified by scientific training and experience and who, under the direction of the commissioner, shall be in charge of the suppression of pests as provided for in this subdivision.
