Text

The commission may exempt any person or corporation engaged in manufacturing and carrying on in this state a manufacturing establishment the product of which is something besides power, and producing electricity primarily for the operation of such establishment or incidental thereto, from any or all provisions of this title, except those directly relating to rates and service, whenever the commission may find such exemption consistent with the public good.
