§ 248:1 — Joint Service by Railroads

New Hampshire·Title XX TRANSPORTATION·Ch. 248 JOINT, CONNECTING, AND TERMINAL SERVICE·Subdivision Joint Service

I. The commissioner of transportation, after a hearing upon complaint or on his own initiative, may establish joint services for 2 or more railroads when the lines could form a continuous line by:

(a)Construction and maintenance of suitable connections;
(b)Joint use of equipment. II. The commissioner may determine the rates, fares and charges to be used by railroads engaged in joint services and may adopt rules, pursuant to RSA 541-A, relative to rates, fares, charges and classifications.
