Text
Selectmen, subject to a vote of the town, or the mayor and board of aldermen of cities, may convey to the state all right, title, and interest of the town or city in or to any class I, class II, or class III highway, if such conveyance is desired by the state on account of any highway construction, reconstruction, or maintenance.
