New Hampshire Statutes
§ 230:11 — Layout Across Stream
A highway or any alteration thereof may be laid out across any stream or body of water; but no highway or bridge shall be so laid out if the reasonable and proper construction thereof may prevent the use of such waters for navigation for boats or rafts, or for running timber.
