Text
The executive director, after consultation with the commission, is authorized to establish programs for training persons in the safe and responsible handling of any firearm and bow and arrow used for hunting and for this purpose may cooperate with any public or private association or organization having as one of its objectives the promotion of safety in firearm and bow and arrow handling. The executive director, after consultation with the commission, shall prescribe the type of instruction, qualifications of the instructors, and time and place of examination, the successful completion of which shall qualify a person for the appropriate certificate of completion.
