Text
The department shall perform a diversion program and study for a limited population of TANF applicants who receive an assessment and benefits prior to entry into the TANF program. The study shall assess the program's feasibility and effectiveness, as well as the impact of the diversion program on work participation rates. The department shall report its findings to the oversight committee on health and human services on December 31, 2007 and each December 31 thereafter, for the duration of the program.
