1.A public charter school shall certify to the superintendent of public instruction its
student enrollment in accordance with section 15.1-27-02.
2.The state shall pay to the public charter school an amount equal to the statewide
average amount distributed per student under subsection 5 of section 15.1-27-04.1 for
the previous year for each student enrolled in the public charter school.
3.The state shall pay the proportionate share of moneys derived from federal and state
categorical aid programs to public charter schools with students or teachers who are
eligible for such aid. A public charter school that receives categorical aid shall comply
with related reporting requirements.
4.A public charter school may enter a contract with a local school district or private
