§ 15.1-12-21 — School district reorganization - Changes in plan
North Dakota·Title 15.1 Elementary and Secondary Education·Ch. 15.1-12 Annexation, Reorganization, and Dissolution
1.All provisions of a reorganization plan, except those relating to boundaries and
geographic voting areas, may be changed upon the concurrence of a majority of the
qualified electors voting on the question. The question may be placed before the
voters at a regular or special election upon a motion of the school board and shall be
placed before the voters upon receipt by the board of a petition signed by at least:
a.Twenty-five percent of the qualified electors residing in the district, if the
population of the district, as determined by the county superintendent, is less than
twenty-five qualified electors;
b.Twenty percent of the qualified electors residing in the district, if the population of
the district is at least twenty-five but not more than four thousand; or
c.Fifteen percent
