Approval - Open records exemption.
The board of a school district may develop a school safety plan, in consultation with the
qualified electors residing within the district, and establish and maintain a school safety plan
fund subject to the limitations in section 57-15-14.2. A school safety plan developed by the
board of a school district is exempt from the provisions of section 44-04-18 and section 6 of
article XI of the Constitution of North Dakota with respect to aspects of the plan addressing the
security of students.
