§ 153A-291 — Cooperation between the Department of Transportation and any county in establishing or operating solid waste disposal facilities

A county and the Department of Transportation may enter into an agreement under which the Department of Transportation will make available to the county the use of equipment and prison and other labor in order to establish or operate solid waste disposal facilities within the county. The county shall reimburse the Department of Transportation for the cost of providing the equipment and labor.
